Notifications

Configure where you want to receive alerts when a monitor detects a failure or when a service recovers.

Creating a notification channel

  1. Go to Notifications → New Notification Handler
  2. Give the channel a name (e.g. "WhatsApp Alerts")
  3. Select the type and fill in the settings
  4. Save, then assign it to your monitors

Available channels

  • Email — alert with problem details and a link to the dashboard
  • WhatsApp — enter the phone number with country code
  • Telegram — requires Chat ID (get it from @userinfobot)
  • Slack — create an Incoming Webhook and paste the URL
  • Discord — create a channel webhook in server settings
  • Microsoft Teams — create an Incoming Webhook connector
  • Webhook — POST alert data as JSON to any HTTPS URL (n8n, Make, Zapier)
  • SMS (Twilio) — requires an active Twilio account
You can assign different channels for down alerts and recovery alerts. For example: WhatsApp for down (urgent) and email for recovery (informational).
